You may well be right. But, I have been amazed at how folks with strongly differing opinions on much more explosive and volatile issues than objective vs subjective evaluation of audio gear are able to connect once in-person conversation takes place on subjects other than those that create so much stress. Conclusion: we humans are much more alike than we might think; life struggles, children, careers, money, etc. While the specifics of those issues might be quite different, that we all deal with them is not.
