Hi everyone. This looks like a place I should hang around in and get to know. I have a decent system, not near as great as many I've seen here, though. Like most, my system is always a work in progress. I hope to learn a lot and hope to contribute from time to time, also. I've noticed one or two user id's from another site I've been a member of for a few years, the Martin Logan Club. Hey Tim! My ML Aerius' provided great listening for 15 years, but now I'm putting them in a second system. With my new speakers in place and broken in, I'll be looking and listening to preamp/amp combos over the next year, to upgrade my current integrated amps.

Who's going to RMAF this year?

They are definitely a different sound than the MLs I've had for the last 15 years! I've got them broken in I believe and I really am loving the new sound.

Thanks to all for the welcome! I've been reading some threads and have discovered that there is a lot of knowledge here. I especially appreciate the civil nature of the discussions I've read. Ken and Rich, good to see you here, too. I saw a couple of other MLOC members here, also.

Hi Steve,

I don't run ML's or Wilsons, but glad to have you here nonetheless. Always nice nice to see new members. Welcome!

John

Yeppers, it is always nice to see some familiar names. Kind of like walking into Cheers.

Hi Steve,

welcome; you will find well over a dozen or two of the MLOC members here, including yours truly :) Surprised to hear you replaced the MLs, but enjoy the new . Quite frankly, though, I think I am done with ML myself and the next set (whenever that happens to be) will be something different.

Hey Steve, good to see you here. Looking forward to hanging out with you at RMAF. Sandy and I will likely do some sort of GTG at our place again if you're interested. See you in a few weeks.

Thanks John, Luther, Peter and Tim for the welcome. John, what speakers are you using? I've run everything from Bose to AR to dbx to Pioneer to Radio Shack to ML to finally, the Wilsons. Probably some others I'm forgetting! Peter, I fell for the Wilson speakers at RMAF, along with some others, and decided it was time for a change. I bought my MLs back in 1995 and they are still going strong. I am in no hurry to sell them and might just use them in a second system; I've got more than enough gear for that! Luther, you're always welcome to come by and listen to my system whenever you're up my way. Tim, absolutely interested. I'd love to see your lovely wife again and check out your listening room progress and enjoy your hospitality again.
