Swiss Digital Fuse Box Anyone?

Well clearly you are mistaken as I have 4 of the SDFB in my system, and I was an early adopter of these devices.
Enjoy.

Yes, I mixed up this thread and your comments on Holostages.

Good afternoon everyone. Yesterday, I finally got everything in. SDFB MAX (rated at 32 amps), Graphine Sluggo and Snake River Audio Takshaka's on both sides of the SDFB (PC and Pig Tail). Initial impressions are incredible. Very impressed so far. I'll hold off on any further comments about the sound until I get a hundred or so hours. This is gonna be fun! I had an absolute blast listening last night.

I also received the short Takashaka yesterday. Jonny held sending orders until after APOXNA to give settling time, for which he said to assume 200 hours. In my system, it replaced the Audio Sensibility Furutech gold-plated connector pair on a run with SDFB from a Wyred power supply to a PS Audio P15 regenerator, the latter feeding all the components and speakers except an LPS. While the AS is very good, the SRA cord offered a major improvement in all ways, except with one loss: no warmth, soul (think Jonny Hartman w/ Coltrane). Not unexpected, since it's advertised as neutral. As promised to Jonny, I'll let burnin play out and see what develops, and if I can find a location where the power cord fits in.

This is what I find so rewarding in our hobby. We can make a inexpensive (relatively) purchase to modify our system and get rewarded with hours and hours of listening to our library with new found transparency, dynamics and emotional involvement. And many times these modifications can reveal the music we know so well as if we are hearing it for the first time. Hopefully Tom will experience this with his SDFB/SRA PC investment. I, for example, have recently experienced this with my SDFB's, Holostages, LPS's (for switch and router), optical/SFP's and DAC cable(s). Each of these individually were (what I consider) to be inexpensive and have provided a significant ROI in sound quality.

No review for right now, but I will say this. The aural aspects are SO enjoyable. The SDFB, along with what I have makes an already great sound, so much more enjoyable. On so many different genres of music.

While the speakers had disappeared a long time ago? The room seems to no longer be a part of the equation anymore. It's immersive and enveloping. More later...

Can anyone comment if the Furutech plugs on the Piggy Tail are genuine Furutech?
When I search online, the FI-50 plugs are mega expensive.

No, these are fake and of rather poor quality. The pins of the connectors are easy bendable for example. Better to work with adapters.
Not surprised that these are counterfeit.

My experience with this company suggests that they may themselves not know what they are selling is not genuine. Does Vera-fi advertise that these are Furutech plugs? M. Shifter has never given any reason other that to believe he does business honestly and honorably. I would contact Vera-fi with your complaint if you believe something is misrepresented.

I think he knows. I believe in second chances, he has some baggage. And I have purchased their products also.

Good Afternoon

Several wrote me about this - these are the facts

The Original Piggy Tails we bought from a Vendor in China did in fact say Furutech.

I spoke with Ann in China and explained that we cannot do this - she understood

Anything purchased over the last year + has NOT had Furutech on the Plug Case.

I lived in China for almost 11 years and I fully get the IP theft issues. I've been victimized by this also.

We are in fact going to release the Adaptor here shortly - we have been carefully working on this. The AC Tuning x as we call it uses a SLUGGO as part of the design on "line". Neutral and Ground remain untouched and are treated with CARE

As to their quality - what I can say is that I know the maker of the Plug Case and at our price I am not embarrassed in the slightest

I owe the Adaptor to a particular person on this forum and as I started to work with this concept - I found out he was right.

Forward 8 months and a spectacular 5-digit number for Tooling and we are ready to go.

We are still a very small company and while I would wish I could do more - plainly said at 70 y/o I'm in my last semester. By May of 2026 I will be working on New Product Dev ONLY. The new Line Noise Black Hole, Snub Station Zere and Infinity Fuse are keeping me plenty busy now.,

I will try to post a few screen shots - I'm not here often (for that matter ANY Forum) but I'm surely grateful for this one

I would guess most of you have my e-mail.

Many thanks

Mark
