Swiss Digital Fuse Box Anyone?

Looks interesting Mark...

Will there be something coming for those of us in EU as well?

Currently I need to use TWO adaptors to be able to use my Ansuz Schuko power cable into the component.

Thanks!
Oh yes... for Schuko ABSOLUTELY!

Hopefully out of where I am at current and I can reply more fully

Many thanks

Mark

Hi Mark.
I’m sorry but I’m a bit confused. You put a (graphene) Sluggo in your amp to make the SDFB work. Are you saying you need to put another Sluggo into your adapter to make it work? Why not just hardwire the adapter?
Trust me when I say... I was quite surprised as well...

In the future - we have other ideas for the SDFB Franchise as it were

Every system is it's own island - and this adapter allows for some real unique tuning elements

Best - Mark

Mark,
Always way ahead of the curve. Awesome looking solution can't wait to get a couple.

On this one Mark is behind the power curve. Just saying a bunch of us customers figured this configuration out…..

Perhaps, but the implementation appears to be the best.

Hello All

Lots of adapter information of late. Peter Madnick and have been ruminating of how to approach this for quite some time. I've got a few minutes while I wait where I am, so why not use the time wisely

Our Adapter uses a cut down version of our Main Stream and SnubWay shell with a "trap door" - inside you will find 2 x 30Amp Audiophile Approved 30-amp Fuse Holders.

We use these as a connection on both the Line and Neutral legs + Ground is passed directly through with serious wire.

The fuse holders allow you to use our Sluggos. This quite literally allows you to TUNE your AC with SDFB and your Mains.

Works SUPER WELL. - we have been fooling around with Graphene (of course) and Super Sluggp... But HP Copper and Brass are also cool.

Showing you our working model here. Pricing to follow - but will stay with our "HUMANE PRICING FORMULA"

Fun stuff... This is The Answer in our opinion

Many thanks "

OH, we will reprise our Original Black Friday Deal on SDFB this weekend. Lots of people asking...
If you are suggesting on going back to compromising the integrity of circuits by inserting sluggo’s for improved performance then you’re essentially arguing the viability of the SDFB as opposed to SR fuse, AM fuse, etc., to a large degree.

SDFB incoming. I just placed an order for my first SDFB with pig tail yesterday. After reading all the posts I decided to give one a try on my new AC Helene....

I always thought the SDFB would be limited by its pigtail.

They should make one that can plug straight into the IEC socket. It will remove an unnecessary set of extra connections, which all color the sound.
YES!!
Or Directly into the wall or power bar socket.

Mark is making an adapter that will allow the SDFB to be able to plug directly into the wall or component, thus eliminating the need for the pigtail.

He should do one that is right angled. Some of us have our equipment racks very close to the wall. :)

Will there also be an european Schuko version?

A European version will probably be forthcoming. I guess the question will be, should it be installed at the equipment/amp or the wall end? This could resolve the issue of equipment rack close to the wall. But an angled plug would be helpful.

Now, when it comes to the Takshaka's? As great as the Signature AMP series were/are....these Takshaka's are simply on another level of playback capability. They are really top notch PC's that excel on pretty much anything and everything even the most demanding audiophile would want to listen for. The Takshaka's were not just another flavor of music or a lateral swap. It was quite the change, especially in the sheer weight of voices and instruments. They kept all of the attributes of the Signature but took the sound to a whole other level. Both in what you hear...and what you don't.
I couldn’t agree more. The Takshaka Piggy took what was already a very welcome improvement in soundstage, imaging and frequency extension; to added texture, tautness in bass and greater shimmer in the upper treble region. I also added a Takashaka power cords to a Walker phono stage. Another step forward with no sacrifice.

Please make sure the IEC is very tight fitting as the weight can make it sag markedly . My Musical Surroundings adaptors are at quite an angle with SDFB and cable hanging off of it.
