What are other owners using to put under the TAD ST2TX, has anyone not bolted their CE1 to the stand and used some form of isolation base/feet between the speaker and stand?

Has anyone tried WellFloat/Stack Audio or Track Audio?

We will evaluate Wellfloat Delta and Franc Audio Ceramic disc hybrid feet here very soon in Stockholm under the TAD CE1TX stands, I would be happy to report back in due time.
Will you also try some form of isolation between the speaker and stand? So not bolting the speaker to the stand.

Yes, that's certainly a possibility and option as well. We've got quite a few options here to play around with from Wellfloat, Franc Audio accessories. HRS and Arya.

Fantastic can’t wait to read your comments after your testing. I have been considering Wellfloat Delta as isolation feet to go under the stand and the Delta Extreme between the speaker and stand. Will hold off doing anything until you guys have done your tests.

I expect that a combination of four stable feet in between the speakers and stands combined with a set of Wellfloat Delta or Delta Extreme in between the stands and the floor to work well. But let's find out :)

I'm using stacked audio AUVA 100 for my CE1TX on concrete flooring. It tighten up the bass nicely. I also like that I can adjust the speakers much easier than spikes or other footers.

I use three "Orea Bordeaux" under my CE-1 - but not with the TAD-stand.
Quiet good result, wan´t miss it any more...

That'll be really interesting to hear what your findings are/were. I'm considering whether its worth changing the spikes on my CR1TX (bolted to the TAD stands) to isolation feet like one of the Isoacoustic offerings - not that they don't sound great (they do!) but as I'm sure that we all do, I like to tinker and see if I'm missing anything.

I'm using Iso Acoustics on my CE1's. As you only need six I have two spare, which would mean you only need to get one set. From reading, you may be reasonably local, I'm based in Hertfordshire.

That's extremely good of you! Presumably you recommend them?

They have helped with my CE1's which sit on a suspended wooden floor. I think all will be different depending on the substrate. Suspended wooden flooring like ours is problematic and these have helped things to calm.

The floor in my listening room is also a suspended wooden floor, but with carpet on top, so I might explore the IsoAcoustic carpet spikes as well and see how that goes

So I added my delta extremes on the weekend and all I can say is wow! The entire frequency range has improved. Highs more focused, notes sound far more defined and separated and bass far more tighter. I have toyed with the idea of putting some form of isolation between the speaker and stand - but decided against it due to the small foot print of the stand plate under the speaker. Therefore, opted for the extreme delta over the standard delta. I would put the difference the delta extreme has made on a par with making a major component change within the system. I honestly can’t describe how amazing they are.

I actually purchased the Stack but returned them when I got an offer on the deltas which I couldn’t turn down. Must say the fit and finish on the stack is impressive and think it also would have worked well.

Great :D

I will try the same in due time here in Stockholm.
