At the moment, I am playing with the TAD ME1, but I am looking for something new. Now, the space is limited, and the ME1 suits me excellently.I am considering the TAD-CE1TX, but I am wondering if a TAD-ME1 TX is in the works.

Is there anyone who can tell me more about this?

Thanks in advance,
Ivo

So you are looking for another speaker because ?
After repeatedly listening to the CE1TX, I noticed it offers higher resolution and more detailed mids, making it very revealing. It has a slightly more neutral sound compared to the ME1, which isn't always favorable depending on your preferences. The ME1, on the other hand, has a warmer and smoother sound profile. In terms of bass, the CE1TX provides more extension.

When paired with my Vitus SIA-025mkII, the CE1TX delivers exactly what I'm looking for, though its price is quite steep.

For some context, the ME1 was released in 2017, the CE1 in 2015, and the CE1TX in 2021. Given the six-year gap between the CE1 and CE1TX, it seems likely that the ME1TX could be released soon.

Thanks,
Ivo

As far as I understand, the European introduction will take place during High End in Munich in May 2025.

As much as I am looking forward to this introduction, I am already completely sold on the CE1TX. If all goes well, 2025 will be a fantastic year — a true TAD year.

Hello,,

Just to confirm your choice. I owned the TAD ME1for the past 2 1/2 years and upgraded a couple of months ago to the CE1TX. I am very happy with the upgrade. The CE1TX has the following improvements, clarity and detail from the mids up, more extension in the highs and low frequency, wider/larger soundstage more focused imaging. The ME1s have a slightly warmer softer presentation at the cost of the CE1TX strengths. Not saying the ME1s are not good, just that the CE1TX are in my opinion better in every sound aspect that I care about. The CE1TX is the best speaker I’ve owned over Wilson Sasha, Focal Scala….

Hope you enjoy the TAD CE1TX.

Thanks for your response and your experience.

I have now extensively listened to the CE1TX myself and have come to the same conclusion as you. The CE1TX is therefore on my shortlist for purchase.

However, I am also curious about how the ME1TX will sound. From what I have understood from the distributor, it will be presented at High End Munich in May 2025.

At the moment the ME1 TX is the speaker of intrest. I have not heard it yet but still. For the room I am in I expect I will need a sub. I also found a second hand Borrensen O1 does anyone heard them are they compatible?
Oh, are they ME1 easy to drive my has about 130w / 8ohm
