This Guy's Had Too Much To Drink

This kinda reminds me of something I did when in my late teens. I wasn't drinking or anything, but decided to impress my new g/f (future wife...now ex-wife) by diving into a lake and showing off my aquatic prowess. Well I think my legs were still not fully submsersed when my head found a huge boulder under water which caused me to bleed profusely and had me in a daze for several minutes. My other very compassionate friends who we were having as lovely afternoon with proceeded to laugh their proverbial asses off, and left me sitting on the side of the lake in a state of total "WTF just happened here". It hurt like hell and I proceeded to the hospital for several stitches.

Mind you, I still laughed at the video you posted.

John

it's good that you could laugh after that incident as there are too many stories of the diver coming up a paraplegic or quadraplegic

Sadly I've heard of those instances as well, and yes, I do consider myself very lucky that all I ended up with was a few stiches, and maybe some wounded pride. And at the end of the day....laughter heals all wounds...
