Upgrade stand mount from Heritage Specials

Hopefully you get a chance to demo at home. I went through several increasing upgrades only to find out what I had many upgrades before was just fine.
Thanks, I am also uncertain how much better I can do in this space and with the electronics I have currently. Happy with what I have but you know how it is :)

I also own the Hertiage Specials for 3+ years. There have been many times when I have considered replacing them with a speaker with fuller bass but I know I would miss what the HS really excell at. I do have a second larger stand mount speaker that does go deeper but it's 20 years old. The Sonner is a great recommendation or Sonus-faber.

I head a few Harbeths at an audio show recently and it was the room I ended up spending the most time in. Addictive mids and quite a lot of detail. But the low end was loose where they were set up, no idea if they'd work in my room. I understand they are quite challenging with placement and stand pairings. I also heard the new borresen C1s. Seriously impressive tight, textured bass, however the rest of the spectrum was not as good as the heritage.

I owned the Dyn HS, with the Dyn Sub6. I didn’t use the pseudo-DSP curves they have built in for their speakers, but did use the built in delay, worked perfect in that it was dead center of the sound stage, though it was parked in a corner. I was in a smaller space, the sub is super small, but mates perfectly with the DHS’s. I’m in a bigger space now, so running a different setup, but might be something to consider.

I did not know the sub6 has left and right channel independent delays, that's incredibly useful. Of course that means two sets of $$$ XLR interconnects as the L/R signal must be routed through the sub to the power amp. Definitely something to consider!

Correct, it does use R/L XLR’s and are independent of one another, works great. It is a sub, so overspending for “sonic integrity” seems a crime…though I didn’t A/B cabling with it, so I could be entirely in the wrong. I just sold my setup back to TMR, so I believe they have a used one.
