The early pricing was $30K to $35K US. I saw $35K Euros. I think it will be $37K US.Gonna be 50k+
Barry, I think the price you quoted is correct..I was told at the backend of last year that the aim was to keep it under £30k.

Hi Barry, that’s a big jump. The SIA-025 Mkll retail is $25300 US, now SIA-030 maybe $39K US. That’s a $14K jump. I’m not sure it’ll be worth the upgrade.Translated to Canadian will be $50K plus taxes and shipping, minus dealer discount.$35k Euro = a few hundred pounds under £30k English pounds
$35k Euro = a hundred dollars or so over $39k US
Using net exchange rate calcs only - no other charges included
Sorry, your right. I guess I’m a little antsy. I won’t post here anymore. The US Distributor has not yet even listed this amp on their website, let alone posted the msrp. So why speculate? As they said, that should be worked out by Munich High End in less than 2 wks.
I don't think anyone's pulling away the welcome mat. Keep an eye out on the thread for more updatesSorry, your right. I guess I’m a little antsy. I won’t post here anymore.
Here are the first photos of 'the Beast' at Munich High End. The setup includes Rockport Avior II speakers, a Studer R2R deck, Alluxity Media One, Vitus SCD-025Mk2, unidentified tt, Vitus SP-103 phono stage, Taoc ASR II rack & Stillpoints amp stand. Cabling appears to be Vitus Andromeda. On analogue tape and audiophile cd's (eg: Ultra HDCD), there should be some good sounds coming out of this room!
I could see them being a good combo!See my "dream" speaker thread for thoughts on Rockport w/ Vitus amps (the even bigger 50-watt, Class A stereo amp).
Thanks for your report Heihei. Sounds like some very positive f'back on the SIA-030!I had a good listen to this at Munich and is fantastic - was one of my companion's favourite rooms.
Usual Vitus attributes of lovely class-A creaminess, rich tonality, stunning vocals. It's a great partner to the Rockports too. If I were to criticise, it's also the usual Vitus attribute of smoothing over some of the ultra-fine detail.
Obviously no idea how it would compare to SIA-025 without back-to-back.
