Anyone have any insights on this older VS model. It has popped up for sale and I am considering it but very hard to find impressions. How does it compare to the modern VS speakers?

I've been through NL at least 4 times since then and failed to meet up with Cor or Jan each time. I really want that T-Rex skull

Jack, NL as in Netherlands?

Yes Ron :)

I'm not sure how many 10 Mk2s were built. These might have been a custom job looking at the driver complement starting with a donor pair of Mk1s. The Mk1s AFAIK did not have the SEAS aluminum woofers but may have had the aerogel mids. They surely didn't have the stonking 15" Diamonds found on the 9 and 11 Mk1s and Mk2s (2018 and onwards nno longer use the Diamonds).

To answer the OP's questions, if the 10s on the market are similar to those of Jan, they would be innn the same ballpark as the current VR line but have been superceded in performance by the XS and U models from the top down to 50hz.

Amsterdam is the most convenient hub for us so we usually go through there. I like KLM schedules and service. The food scene is underrated IMO :)

Cool! Let me know the next time you plan to swing through there, in case we happen to be in Hague at that time.

I'd love to meet up with you and Tinka Ron :D
