After considering a wide array of off-the-shelf and custom wood and metal rolling and stationary racks to forward stage LPs and tapes in anticipation of imminent playing I have decided to purchase from Wax Rax an RC-1 Vinyl Record Cart.

The rack seems extremely solidly and sturdily crafted. I will keep this rack near the turntable and use it to hold records and tapes I bring down the stairs from the LP/ tape storage loft above the front-end component area.
