Thanks for the heads up. Love his music and my experience with ACT vinyl has been very good.

Interesting...historically, I really have been disappointed with the original 1980's/1990's U2 masterings.

Are your remasters much better? I think I got the 2007 Remasters which are much better...but I have heard better improvements with other remastering jobs. Have you compared the 2 remasters by any chance?

No, don't have any other version of Achtung Baby on CD. Didn't even know that it had already been remastered in 2007. Makes me wonder why they remaster it again 4 years later if these sound fine to you...
Got this one because it was made in Japan and these cd's always sound better to me, have enough other material to compare. Strangely, the Deluxe Edition with 2 cd's was not made in Japan.

The Kills "Live At Third Man Records"
It's vinyl recorded 'direct to acetate'. Alison Mosshart is stunning on the cover photo. Great performances, especially 'Baby Says'. Unfortunately sound is crap. For fans only.

The White Stripes "Elephant"
180 gm double LP release of their 2003 breakout LP. Starts off with 'Seven Nation Army' and never let's up. One of the best LP's of the millennium. Sound is B+/A- .... A little noisy in spots. Essential. Buy this....NOW!

Do you have "The Quartet Improvisations in Paris 1986" or "Gaia"? I think you'd like them!
