What turntables do you use? Pictures would be nice as well :-)

—> I am up and running again with a new DS-A003. First impression is that the signal is so very strong with the equalizer, vs the Moving Coil Pick up. This should make an excellent foundation for signal processing down stream, like in the Line Stage and the Power amplifier. There is a lot of information here for devices further down the chain to cater for that is for sure. Sound is rich, powerful, detailed yet soft like we are used to from Vinyl. Very pleased. If someone has more info on complications with the Kuzma/Ds-A configuration pls. Let me know.

Hi Knife,

It looks absolutely gorgious. My local dealer has this cartridge + amp combination as well. I've heard it on his Audio Note and Avangarde XD speakers twice. As you mentioned the details and power was astonishing. I somehow had to get used to the sound, because I miss something, but I don't know if it is bad that ''that'' is missing.

Did you have the opportunity to compare it to a MC cartridge? If I understand correctly, you have no regret choosing this cartridge?

Leroy

Stabi R with Safir arm & MSL Sig Platinum
Hi 'SOS',
Lovely TT set-up A+

How does the MSL Sig Platinum sound ? Have you had any other of the lower MSL cartridges ? (Just wondering how big an upgrade in sound would be going from the MSL Eminent EX to the Sig Platinum ?).

Optical side note:
The Kuzma Safir is such a brute. Still haven’t seen a cartridge that looks good on it.
But if it sounds good who cares. The trouble with pictures is that they don’t give you anything to hear.
