Can't stand Jacques Brel, but I liked Scott Walker's covers. I think that it must be a continental thing...

Could very well be. I was born and raised in The Netherlands and my parents were huge fans of Brel, Becaud, Aznavour, Piaf, Matthieu, etc.....

I have an early Canadian pressing and a U.S. first press, but I've heard this reissue is outstanding. Debating as to whether I should pick it up.

Back from vacation, boy I missed listening to my system! Now enjoying Anti-'s vinyl release of Calexico's latest, "Edge Of The Sun".

 

I have an early Canadian pressing and a U.S. first press, but I've heard this reissue is outstanding. Debating as to whether I should pick it up.

I have an early version or two, but doubt either are a Canadian pressing. This version is well done.
