Good music for an exorcism.
I saw him ~ early 80s. It was a poor turnout (by then, his music wasn’t popular), so he told us to keep our ticket and also come along the next night.
Although he's been to my part of the world a couple of times way back when, I never saw him. A few friends who did said the show was amazing.
I dig this album, brings me back to a simpler time. And yes, perfect for the movie.

Mike Oldfield reinvents himself with every new release. TB is from the early 1970's. Fast forward to 1983 with "Crisis" with Maggie May then onto 1995 with "The Songs Of A Distant Earth", totally different concepts and presentation each time.
I only have 3 of his releases but his music is still played on the radio here. :)

Mike Oldfield use for the Exposed tour 1979 as PA speaker 12×Quad ESL 57.
The first audiophile conzert in the world must have sounded damn good, I like Mike Oldfield;)
I remember having a extreme interest in the 57's & 63's. Those panels were a bit too big for my room at the time. These are great for chamber music but fall short when it comes to classical concert piano and cathedral pipe organ.

Just my opinions.

If you're in Germany, you should drive to Gering to see Manfred Stein, who restores quads. I was amazed at what can be done with quads when they have modern foils and are properly set up in the room.I looked funny, I sat with my mouth open and couldn't believe it.

I'm in Zurich...

Hey that's awesome! I normally don't like Dartzeel but I strongly suspect that those 57's are perfect.

The second photo could double as a giant android phone...at least in appearance... ;)
