I have a Carter Family compilation of songs from the same time period. Carter Family was a American folk group like Woody Guthrie.
It's the oldest recording that I have too.

Jefferson Starship - Blows Against the Empire
That was the track that made me buy the album, as I am a big fan of The Wire and that was the main title track from that series.
One Believer is for me the better album from him more songs on it that i love.
NOTE: I have to warn. This is not a great pressing of Queensryche - Empire: non-fill, less than smooth HF, etc. Most reviews I have read since echo these sentiments. If you like the music and desire a copy on vinyl...avoid this Friday Music pressing. I will likely continue to reach for my CD copy over this. Sad, but true.
