It took a long time until I had a plinth that I was happy with in terms of sound. The Thorens is rigidly screwed to the plinth. I made a turntable with a high absorbing mass out of what is normally was a subchassis with springs. It weighs around 32 kg.

So sad most of, if not all of the Elektra Musician label masters were lost in the Universal fire years ago, loved those recordings

I think Tracy Chapman was signed to the Elektra Label. Yea really sad story !

I have only bobby mcferrin and few gipsy kings albums from the this label. Really good recordings...thats sad they lost.

Michael Schenker played in both UFO and Scorpions. Saw UFO in 1978 with Schenker and again in 1979 with the Scorpions with Schenker during their "Love Drive" tour.
