What's Spinning Tonight?

Johan,
Have you been talking to my wife? I grew up about 10 miles from the Top Gun School at NAS Miramar. I spent a lot of time at the base as I was a newspaper photographer. I even did a couple of ride a longs in Navy Jets and Helicopters at the base......Late 70's early 80's....

Sounds amazing!

Well not really talked to your wife (yet .. LOL..), but I think I’ve seen the TopGun movie more than a hundred times - and watch it as we speak. Ride in fighter jets and heli’s are awesome. I did ride a lot of heli’s too back in my old job with communication masts and towers. Now as a mobile crane pilot I don’t fly fighter jets, I lift them for different purposes, which is kind of cool, as I get very up and close with highly advanced technologies. ( which ofcourse is ””top secret ”” LOL..) !!

This morning on the Ascona☝:

With ”manual repeat”, moving back the tonearm like 40-50 times already.. LOL..
Listening to the same side over and over again, it’s such a good album. Talk about to be stuck in the -80’s :D !! This album gives me so much nostalgia, memories and pleasures, I really wish I could turn back time.

S A G A - Wildest Dreams, from 1987 on black vinyl at 33rpm.

Gave the six-pack subwoofer stack a good push for that good ol’ LIVE-feeling.. WOW !!!

Johan, you playing Miami Vice Theme inspired me to dig out Jan Hammer.

Yes, the record weight is the same as yours. I am using the ADH version, so the heavy one. I find it a lot better than the one that came with the Acoustic Solid turntable, I like it.
