What's Spinning Tonight?

@facten just checking them out now, listening to From Manhattan to Staten - The Album. Looks like an early album, interesting but not like Innocence but I like it.

One of the tracks on there “Muesli Brown”, uses the bassline from Lonnie Liston Smith’s - Expansions. Incidentally the same bassline was used on Monie Love’s - Down to earth.

Can you recommend an album to start with? They have done many albums, they are very pricey on vinyl. From Manhattan to Staten - The Album, is very pricey in the UK anyway.

Monie Love… wow, haven’t heard her name for A while I tell you! I had her hits back then in the nineties… Gave all my DJ records away to some dealer, to make room for more serious albums - now I sometimes regret myself…
