Harmonium - l'heptade.
They only produced 3 studio albums and one live recording in their short career, but they are some of the best progressive rock releases you'll find.

Just got the EU pressing yesterday. Very good sound.
Great reissue. Nice not to have to pay what the originals sell for.

The Julie London 45 reissue on Boxstar- they have redeemed themselves with this one;

Laura Nyro- First Songs, reissue on Audio Fideilty- sound was waay better than I expected.
Mingus Ah Uhm 45 Org- demo material for sure. Pork Pie Hat was wonderful.

im curious how your 2-eye chicago holds up against (shows up?) the current rhino 180g and OOP MFSL...i have the mobile and its nice, so is the legacy reissue of big bros cheap thrills. i'll have to check out the laura nyro, i generally like everything that AF puts out
Last night I spun a pretty nice W7 WLP of Live/Dead. I love that '69 Dark Star. Tonight "relaxing" to the electric set of Dylan's Live at Royal Albert Hall (LP2), put out by Classic Records.

Rob, don't know. My recollection of the Rhinos (isn't that what one of the Bowie reissue series was on a decade plus ago?) was not good; as to MoFi, for the most part, mine are the original ones from back in the day (LZII, White Album, Abbey Road, Aqualung, Rickie Lee Jones) and all were bettered by the right original pressings, eg. Ludwig, Parlaphone, or UK pressings. I'm sure I have some more recent MoFi's but I don't go out of my way for them, though I gather the new ones don't sound as fiddled with as the originals.
On Chicago II, I must have half a dozen US pressings, huge side to side variability in SQ. I just bought a UK first pressing- interested to see what it sounds like. The second BS and Tears album is similar- I have many copies, some of them sound pretty killer- the standard issue Columbias from the 70's can sound very dynamic, but tend toward thin sounding or bright sometimes.
Laura Nyro was truly gifted. What a loss.

my most recent (and favorite) dylan record purchase. the acoustic set is mesmerizing and heckling in the audience is priceless.
Years ago I had a flood and it damaged about 500-750 LP's. Although a lot of the jackets make any resale impossible (although I won't be selling), the vinyl on the vast majority of them was unmarred. This is one of them. I just love this album!
