This is annecdotal and based on my used record purchases, 70% emanate from the East Coast. I'm in So. California and we purportedly have an audio society with the greatest membership in the US (LAOCAS). My gut tells me the participation isn't as strong as all of the clubs/societies combined that you have in the East. Within my very narrow preference for used collectable/audiophile records, East coast dealers have WAY more imports and scarce UK pressings for sale than you'll find out my way. I've also counted more high-end dealers in the East than here.
