World's Highest BASE Jump - Flying from Mt. Everest

I think he wanted to claim the highest land take-off point for a base jump. If you know much about the terrain lower on Everest, it would be apparent that one must choose a safe "zone" for landing, since winds and weather conditions could make hitting a precise target impossible. To attempt to fly further and land lower, the Khumbu icefall would prove deadly with all its crevasses. I thought he did great. Just getting to the take-off point is more than most folks can do.
