Eeeeeh, Porsche 992…no test drive needed, imhoDo your due diligence. Go listen to several loudspeakers and once you have a shortlist, get them demoed at your place. You'll then be in a position to take an informed decision. That's how I ended up acquiring a pair of Stenheim Reference Ultime Two.
Would you purchase a 200,000 USD car without a test drive?

Indeed! To actually do so would be the rare exception, esp as the shortlisted speakers weigh over 100kg each!Unfortunately it's not that easy, the dealers don't have all the high end models in their showroom and in most cases I can't hear the speakers in my living room / Home.
Yes, they sound fantastic! So do Horning Eufrodite Ellipse speakers, which I own. What about Diesis Roma Triode, Has anyone heard them?
If a retailer doesn’t have speakers in stock and cannot provide an in-home demo, they shouldn’t charge full retail price. If they expect you to decide without a demo for non-stocked speakers, they should offer a significant discount. Remember, they typically pay only a third of the retail price, with only a few exceptions for certain brands.Unfortunately it's not that easy, the dealers don't have all the high end models in their showroom and in most cases I can't hear the speakers in my living room / Home.

big difference in price between the Zellaton Ultra Reference and the Wilson Alexx VHello everyone,
I'm sharing with you that I've added another speaker to the my list and I want to know if anyone has experience with the Wilson Alexx V model.
A few months ago I thought it was too big for my room but I read that I can use a speaker with a front or rear port and fit it perfectly in the room, so it could be a better solution than the Zalleton Reference Ultra or Stenheim Reference ultime two.
What do you think about it?
Yes, I know ...big difference in price between the Zellaton Ultra Reference and the Wilson Alexx V
However one wonders why are you asking folks here what YOU should get, as only your own ears and preferences can determine what you ultimately choose. I'm sure if you playing in this league you can afford few hundred euros $ to fly to any dealer and audition for yourself.... What may sound good to me, may sound horrible to you and vice versa, if you catch my drift.![]()
WBF member Marty has them!I want to know if anyone has experience with the Wilson Alexx V model.
Zalleton Reference Ultra or Stenheim Reference ultime two.
