What are some recent LPs you have bought that sound amazing?

Back in 1987 I bought this on cassette, and recently decided to listen to it again, but on vinyl:

I was surprised to hear how well it was recorded!

One of my favorites from 2024. Snagged tickets for April’s concert…

Cellar Music deserves recognition for its fabulous jazz releases with terrific sonics. Really like this new release…

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention!
I just ordered this one today via Amazon on both vinyl and cd.
I also ordered there first recording as well. However, I could only find it on CD.

I'm looking forward to being able to listen to all three recordings on my system.
Thanks again for sharing this recommendation with us all!

Best wishes,
Don

New mono Tone Poet is fantastic. A mint original can set you back $2500

I’ve recently bought these 3 Testament reissues, and they are fantastic! Easily the best sounding LPs of violin recordings in my collection. Are the originals better? The originals of Columbia SAX pressings go for over $7 000, so even if they sound better (which I doubt), I’ll never find out. But these reissues are still available brand new, so grab them while you can:)

I don't like the testament or the ERC. The original is expensive because it is Kogan performing Beethoven. But you can get many excellent sounding excellent Beethoven performances much cheaper. I posted some here https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/violin-music-vdeos.40707/

I don’t want to waste my time guessing the LPs from your videos. These reissues sound wonderful to my ears and at 40 bucks they are no brainer.

Great, please post video on that thread. I also posted the Rabin on a cone speaker on that thread

I asked Bonzo what Beethoven recordings he was playing on the videos and he did not answer my question. Catalogue numbers would be would be great as suggested in the OP.
