Thanks for bringing this one to my attention!
I just ordered this one today via Amazon on both vinyl and cd.
I also ordered there first recording as well. However, I could only find it on CD.



I'm looking forward to being able to listen to all three recordings on my system.

I’ve recently bought these 3 Testament reissues, and they are fantastic! Easily the best sounding LPs of violin recordings in my collection. Are the originals better? The originals of Columbia SAX pressings go for over $7 000, so even if they sound better (which I doubt), I’ll never find out. But these reissues are still available brand new, so grab them while you can

I don't like the testament or the ERC. The original is expensive because it is Kogan performing Beethoven. But you can get many excellent sounding excellent Beethoven performances much cheaper. I posted some here https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/violin-music-vdeos.40707/

I don’t want to waste my time guessing the LPs from your videos. These reissues sound wonderful to my ears and at 40 bucks they are no brainer.

I don't like the testament or the ERC. The original is expensive because it is Kogan performing Beethoven. But you can get many excellent sounding excellent Beethoven performances much cheaper. I posted some here https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/violin-music-vdeos.40707/

I asked Bonzo what Beethoven recordings he was playing on the videos and he did not answer my question. Catalogue numbers would be would be great as suggested in the OP.

Should you be by way of an inclination for Mono ? The following pressings are rather good , and not absurd monies … Yet !

I like these video threads for both the introduction to someone’s system, but also for the music. It really helps if people include catalog numbers in the videos or on the posts in case others like the music and performance and want to buy the recording.
