Wow! Check this out! | Theta Digital New High-End 2D/3D Blu-ray Universal Player!

Bad link Bob. Isn't it based on an OPPO? You can get a ModWright 105 OPPO for the same price.

Link is fixed now (forgot one word: article).

* It is even worst that than last year's Oppo BDP-93! ...It has no multichannel analog outs, and no DACs!

You get more from the Sony BDP-S790 for $169 (street)!

Isn't this supposed to be mainly a transport?

So it's an old OPPO with a fan and the DAC ripped out for $4k? Wow I guess you have to pay at least another $4k just to get an outboard DAC to go with it.:p Sounds like a really good deal.

It's a Compli (complimentary) BD player. ...To match with other Theta gear.

Just like Denon did before, ...and what happened to those? ...That's right; they went nowhere!

This Theta player is an Oppo copy, less a million missing things! ...Worth a pretty face that's about it!

Nah nah, with Theta Digital make that $12,000 for a true BD player! ...And without 4K!

Actually this has no analog output...the article says it is for outboard DACs. Wow...gutsy. Might just work.

...No XLR balanced connections either! ...What is it? ...A digital machine? And what does it do? Yeah, play few disc formats, and gives you pictures too. ...In the digital aim.
