By your argument, I could sell a plug-in that did absolutely nothing, but if I charged $50 and some people paid it, it would mean it is doing something!Exactly, I gave equally valid psychological reasons for them not choosing Jplay, stronger reasons I would suggest than expectation bias (money), yet they purchased it.
