Dear Ptekkis,
Joshua and I are heading to Greece soon to determine if the system you describe is as good as you, Stavros, and Joshua say it is. Sublime has been mentioned.
Having recently made the sojourn out to Utah to hear the Whamm, I have a threshold of what it will take to dissolve my savings. As Stavros explains, rationalizing a VERY expensive speaker system, but the bass modules are included! Any other audiophiles interested in the walkabout should join us.

Midbass horn waiting it's turn for Liquid Copper finish.
Only half of the length of the horn is visible.
For size references, the midrange is the same size as Symphonia's midrange horn..

With the purchase of the new Aries Cerat gear, are you making any changes to any of your cables or power products or will you existing cables work well with this gear? What cables and power products are you choosing to use?

I wish guys.... I can't get a direct flight from Spain, so faced with 15 hours of 2 flights and waiting in airports for hours.
A trip when I am in the UK would be better for me, 2.5 hours and I'm there. But I am very tempted though, meet Billy and the other guys, it would be a blast for sure. Winter in Cyprus, should be a bit quieter.

I am going to Munich though, that is 100% certain. I am also hoping AC can get a dedicated room at the show. It would be great to show folk what we can do, and I would fancy escorting / dragging some Spanish clients over. I have already offered my services to Stavros such as lugging enormous amplifiers around and attending the music mix. Did I tell you I used to be a DJ? Must ensure Stavros doesn't loose his luggage....

The Munich show is enormous and only getting bigger. CEC and other previous stalwarts in the USA seem to be loosing the numbers, so the Munich show is a must. There is also the odd spin off show called HiFi Deluxe down the road from the main show. It was set up a few years back by the guy who owns MalValve, to give the established brands a bit of a kick up the butt, and answer to the clique of the Munich room booking system. It is held at the Marriot and is also worth the visit.

That is my dilemma as well. I am planning to go to Munich this year and to take a short trip just to hear the horns when Stavros will also be making the trip to the USA in Jan seems like I should wait.

But then again those who hesitate tend to masturbate.......

Quite an amazing system-the Contendo 2s. Not yet entirely tweaked but their potential is only limited by Stavros drive. They are built with the intent to match a room and its royal occupant. And although the Holy Grail is an elusive target, meant only for the Gods, he is fraught with sins of human frailty. Stavros guided by Apollo, has been working overtime to create-a true world’s best.. We tell him given that he is on a mission from God and driven by my positive comments about the Whamm, he must beware the witches, monsters, and the ambivalent beasts of man and ego. He has slim chances of survival and succeeding his holy journey. But we support him in this brave quest.
We listened for hours and hope sprang eternal.Despite being in the over damped research room, the monster Contendos made scary ambience, spatial accuracy, and massive dynamic range which starts at 20hz with horn loaded woofers was simply beyond this earthly audiophile to comprehend. God supports all that is holy, particularly sound physics.
We dare gaze upon blinding monsters again tomorrow feeding only sublime analogue hoping for just a glimpse of the magnificent audio speakers. Praying that they may slay the mighty Wamms and The Living Vox Palladian May their reign be toppled by a greater master.
Since it’s a mission from a God, I think it might be ok to take literary license with Hyperbole. Please forgive me my masters, I am just your loyal serpent. Long live audio!
