Anthony (KL) Davis goes to the Lakers.

Good luck, AD.

Wonder how he will adjust to being the #2 guy rather than the face of the team. Will be an adjustment for him to take instructions from LeBron.

He will be the new Kevin Love. Big. But might be transformed by LeBron into a wing who will shoot the treys, which Love came out to become. So now all they need is Kyrie. And JR and Tristan. :D Klutch sports team with Rich Paul replacing Magic Johnson. :)

I am relieved that Ainge didn't bite and give Tatum away. The good thing about LAL is that they retained Kuzma. The No4. pick is really coveted here by the Pelicans. They have No.1 and 4 now on June 30.

They gave up the farm to get him
Ball
Ingram
Hart
4th pick in the first round
3 first round picks

For sure, LeBron believes he doesn't need the farm. He will now , as always, handpick his 'crew'.

And LeBron, if he doesn't like Vogel's coaching and running plays in the sidelines, will call Rich Paul, who will call Silver, to say that Vogel isn't the right coach for LeBron. That is why Jason Kidd is there for. Transition. :D

I won't miss Ball although he was a better player this year

Ingram I'll miss but as the 3 position he needs to bulk up

Hart was a very good player. Reminds me a lot of Derek Fisher

I thought David Griffin would insist on Kuzma, too. The Pelicans did get three #1 draft picks from the Lakers.

Kuzma and Tatum of the Celtics were coveted on both negotiations. Griffin has to take the best offer as both GMs of LAL and C's stood pat. That is a great haul of the Pelicans. Take it or AD walks end of this coming season. The bluff games end, and LeBron wins.

Brings a new meaning to "in transition"

It will be some show in the Western Conference if Kawhi joins the Clippers. Lakers vs Clippers games will be THE SHOW. :)

Doc had placed his 'ad' for $50k. Time for payoff. :)

Wait a minute.....that was a totally innocent comment by Doc. :)

I think Kawhi will stay with the Raptors....how do you walk away from a championship team?

Would love to have him but the chances are diminished in my opinion.

Not sure who the Clippers will go after especially now that KD and Klay have serious injuries - certainly narrows the field

Vegas bettors have guessed right in picking LAL as the team to win the title, all hedged on AD coming to LAL.

Second place odds was Clippers. And the are hedging of Kawhi going there, that's about the biggest reason for it.

As to Kawhi walking away from a title team, I've been reading that he mostly can because he came from a trade that is not his choice. Wanting to play for his hometown was his desire unless he got some super special rapport with Lowry or Van Vleet. Gasol has a player option and can opt out. To me the 2nd biggest factor ot the Raptors rise this year is adding Gasol, having Ibaka as his back up of sorts. Let's see what happens after June 30. :)

So now, it's not only Kawhi who could bolt ... :D

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26969432/wizards-preparing-prolific-offer-ujiri

The Washington Wizards are preparing to offer Toronto Raptors president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri a deal that could approach $10 million annually and deliver him the opportunity for ownership equity, league sources tell ESPN.
Wizards owner Ted Leonsis is expected to reach out to Toronto ownership soon to request formal permission to meet with Ujiri and offer a staggering financial package that would include running the Wizards' basketball operations and, perhaps, taking on a larger leadership role in the Monumental Sports and Entertainment company that oversees the Wizards and NHL's Capitals, league sources said.
