Micro of all those amps you had , have you ever tried convergent ?

Only a CAT preamplifier in the past. I loved the sound, but hated the umbilical of the power supply and the absence of a remote.

The Lamm ML3's with the Ohio SRA stands the available for sale at a little more than the price of the stands - 45 keuros + insured shipping. Currently 230V units, can be wired for other voltages by Vladimir Lamm at the Lamm factory. Located in Europe.

FIY, these are the Lamm ML3's I got from Mike Lavigne. They were sent to the Lamm factory for inspection and changing mains voltage, and sent to me from there. VAT and customs duties were paid on them. We can see them at this thread https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/ying-and-yang-lamm-ml3-and-dartzeel-458.24906/

On Mike's thread he says the SRA stands are Virginia Class stands which are significantly more expensive than the Ohio stands....

Well, stands included as shown in the pictures. They are really heavy!

These SRA stands were an early prototype and used as demos at shows. You can see that one of them the logo was misplaced on the back side instead of the front side of the stand. However, they were made expressly for the Lamm ML3 amplifiers and power supplies. I enjoyed them and they will be enjoyed on their next stop along the way...:)

...actually ms is the second owner, I was the first. At the time, I was a Lamm dealer and purchased the ML3s for my personal use right after Steve bought his pair.

Mike...first a deposit to try them and writeup his thoughts. After his marketing scheme, he sent them to ms. I believe that Mike used the ms funds to pay the balance. So, technically, I would guess that ms is actually the second owner.

These are good machines; for example, Steve’s and David’s pairs are older than these amplifiers, they were successful early adopters. After all this time, their original ML3s are still fantastic performers, just ask them...IMHO they are correct.

FWIW jt, I understand, if you may have a problem with funds to make a low offer. However, if not a problem and you want the ML3s, the ask here is very good and more than a fair price...bring them back across the pond and enjoy them with your other Lammies. However, to maximize your enjoyment with these SET amplifiers, they pair best the the synergistic architecture and gain provided with the four box Lamm LL1 Signature preamplifier

Best,
-a

So fourth owner, or fifth? I’ll give you $15k wire transfer.

Although I understand that used high cost equipment depreciates a lot I think such offer is very unkind to all Lamm owners and lovers, unless your offer just covers the SRA racks. :) IMHO such high quality pieces do not loose their value and sound qualities just because they were owned by three WBF careful owners ;), particularly as they were inspected by the Lamm factory before I got it. The kindness and service of Vladimir and Elena Lamm was exceptional. Built quality of the ML3 is top.

I have bough and sold many used equipment along decades. Never had problems selling pieces from well known manufacturers such as Audio Research, conrad johnson, Wilson Audio, SME, Sonus Faber for fair values, I hope that Lamm will not be an exception. The Lamm's will not stay close to me because none of my friends have suitable speakers for them, the Achiles knee of the ML3. My old ARC REF750's are playing less than 100 miles away ...

Jeffrey-T's offer was hopefully a joke. Even low ballers that you find on Audiogon would not make such an insulting and ridiculous offer. And trust me they make some doozies!

My experience with ML3s and I do have some is that the ask here is right on the mark.

BTW, GREAT AMPLIFIERS!!!

Thanks. It is why I posted it here before going to the usual sites. We must remember that European prices include an extra 23% over US prices.

The ML3's are keepers and will never be sold nor will the LL1 or LP1
