Tang I must say it sounds nice the WADAX over you tube.
It sounds a bit undigital.

Did they finally solve the digital puzzle lol .
It surely took a while ( 3O years and 300 thousand US $$$)
Must give credit to the owner, Khun Chai, he "cooked" his digital superbly. Master of the masters of tweaks.

YG with MSB and Dagostino
Aries Cerat with Cube Audio Nenuphar
Howie's with Pacific with PX25, Koda and Goebbel

Recorders are quite different here...

I don't know about the wadax but the rest are on smart phone. Think wadax is too
Yes, but the noise levels and such are all quite different...obviously they are not all the same make/model of smart phone and I would guess some are good and some are crap.

Different people record using same model of phone? Not sure what's new here.

Tang, listening to this video, and then those others, i do hear familiar differences from my head to head sessions here. i'm connecting dots to some degree, but in other ways it's how it is.

thank you for that video and congrats to Mr. Chai. when you say 'master of tweaks' are you referring to his video taking prowess? or his system tuning prowess?

Also this tweak ?
Is it a direct " simple" cellphone recording or with external mic ??View attachment 88984

The recording was done by simple mobile phone. We use mobile phone to exchange clips to hear differences when we put something into the system because we all can have the same access to that common phone. This system is tweaked until it has such low noise floor Mike. Morricab made a comment about the video was recorded using something special or different from others. But as I said it was just a cell phone. The video reflects how it is with this system. Mr. Chai has tried in his system all top tier power cords, cables, grounding, mega dollars fuses, footers, breaker components, and other tweaks you would be laughing if heard. He even bought Siltech wire for connecting from pole to a dedicated room he is building. His seriousness in noise floor is no less if not more than you Mike. The way he build his system is actually very much like yours. He is using Dartz same model as you too. Because his current listening room is small he chose Magico M2. He is MikeL born Thai...a very very nice person.

Actually it just sounded like the quality of the recordings was quite different and I commented that it could be that they are all made with different types of phones (unless we think now that all phones record the same ;) ). i mentioned that because some sounded grainier and don't think it was the system make that sound.

Respect.

Come on guys. Can't let the Horizon thread steal the wind. Here is a really nice sound from Wadax from my fellow Thai audiophile. Great quality streaming. See if the Horizon can beat this .

Hi Tango.

I never have listened them so musical.
Amazing !!!

Hi Tang on the left bottom shelf there is a Pilium preamp. I'm surprised if he is using the Pilium pre that he is not using Pilium amps. Besides the two Wadax pieces and the Pilium preamp, what are the amps? Is there a pic including the amps?.....thx
