The Doors - Morrison Hotel, first released in 1970. This however is the 2 x 45rpm reissue on black vinyl from Analogue Productions, released in 2012. Crazy good pressing and highly recommended. Enjoy

Pink Floyd - Animals, originally from 1977. This however is the Remix reissue, released in 2018. Amazingly good sound on this release.

I've not heard this copy but have the original pressing from 1977.
The album art seems to be greatly improved.

Kind of mellow sound. Not entirely my cup of tea, but pretty nice album nonetheless. In what way was he tortured?Elliott Smith – Either / Or - such a classic album from a gifted but tortured singer songwriter
Wow - Rick Braun on the second track, not bad - not bad… LOL.. Beautiful album, even though not really my thing, but very good sound quality

Thanks buddy, for the info. I read a few lines about him, and it seemed like a somewhat sad story. But yea, a few albums he did.depression, drug and alcohol abuse - dies at age 34 of two stab wounds top the chest - autopsy was open - not sure if self inflicted or not.
Give the album a few plays - it will grow on you big time - he has quite a few albums - all are good.
