Feet had that SME look...so come on! Share the rest!! I need my morning fix of turntable porn.
Yes indeed, time for a turntable picture or two. Our recent posts have kind of diverted the thread, interesting comments though!

So OK then...here's one I'm working on as a diversion: started life as a Rega Planar 3 with RB 300 arm. Still have the motor pod to build, and will replace the sub-platter with something more elegant...Baltic birch, using BDR pucks as stand-offs, and a BDR platform as the "plinth," sitting on Finite Elemente footers...RB300 has Incognito wiring and a larger off-center counterweight, and the Pete Riggle VTA on the fly adapter. What type of platform is your Basis on, and what type of stand?
Sal, it's on a Symposium Ultra which sits upon a Sound Anchor 4 shelf stand, which holds the Phono Preamp, TT Controls, and Pump. All of those on Symposium Stealth Shelves.

Hi Sal,

Great looking table! How do you like the Symposium shelves? Have you compared their effectiveness with any other type of shelf?

I use the Symposium Segue as the platform shelf for my diy wall mounted turntable shelf as shown below. I think it, along with the combination of the wall mounted turntable platform being mounted directly into the studs of a load bearing wall, does a great job. I can quite literally jump up and down on my hardwood floors, right in front of my turntable and the stylus does not skip a beat ;)

Best wishes to all,

Don, I assume you meant me with the Symposium shelves. I use Ultras for the TT, Phono Pre, and the 2 Monoblock amps down at the speakers. For those they don't sit on the floor but on Grand Prix amp stands. Most of my components are mounted on Roller Blocks which are then on the Symposium Ultra, Svelte Plus, and Svelte shelves. I'm very happy with the sound and isolation this all provides. Norm

What are you using under the feet Bob, looks like ceramic coasters ?
Oh those? Some granite coasters with cork beneath — I just recently placed the table and Titan and have yet to optimize setup fully. The Atlantis is a heavy beast, and didn’t want to risk marring the surface of my stand. Those will likely be removed.

With speakers like Botticelli that play down to low 20hz, and with my AMG table on the same stand, thumping the stand (with record playing) produced an audible thump from the speakers. Now with VYGER, thumping the stand has no energy transmitted to the speakers. The design and execution of the VYGER tables is quite remarkable. Simple in concept, exceptionally detailed in construction. But the end user is never faced with the complexity—setup and use is actually pretty straightforward.

Bob, is that a Core Audio rack? How do you like the rack compared to others?
Yes, the latest plycraft rack from Arnold @ Core Audio Designs. I am very happy with the racks but have not compared to others — I have been a Core Audio rack user for 15+ years. Beautiful construction and beautiful to look at. A bargain compared to many others. A high mass design — isolate components (or not) with your choice of footers, etc.

Of course Gary, would love to share. I’m always looking for an excuse to open a nice bottle and retire to the music room.

All are welcome!

Those are very attractive stands! Which veneer are you featuring?
