Yes. I was going to call the thread "My digital, amp, and Zu System", so as not to offend anyone. I am looking into less or more digital and either non-SET tubes or solid-state with Dave’s fancy cables, power conditioning, and tube traps. An old girlfriend's husband is looking for a new system and I was going to start a thread asking for advice. He never listens to live music and his reference is official digital remastered YouTube videos. He likes Pop music from the 80s and 90s.
I deleted it because I already know exactly what to get.
As a follow up I was going to ask if Argonaut is really Davey F.

He should go over to ASR where they wait like objectivist spiders in a web for naifs who might suggest they like a component because it ‘sounds good’, upon which they receive page after page of mockery and vitriol for not having double blind studies and measurements to back up their ears, with their beloved component trampled and kicked in the dirt.
Not to mention the wanton cheap skating caviling against the audio Rolex crowd.
He’ll come back here and thank the heavens for the more ordinary badinage and barbed repartee.

You forgot all the “M’lord” stuff. “Great review M’lord“ or “M’lord said not to buy that.” If is measured by the lord, it is doctrine. If you go over there, you become more and more grateful for everything here.
