you gotta love this game as its inly 48 minutes and the Mavs cut a huge lead to 8 points only to have the Celtics again pull away at the end of the 3rd

at least this has turned into a competitive game but Celtics with Porzingis truly look invincible. They couldn't buy a basket as the Mavs cut it to within 8 and suddenly in a blink of the eye the Celtics go back up 88-70

Doncic is obviously having issues again with his right knee which has hampered him through the 3rd and now into the 4th period

Horford has only 8 points tonight whereas Derrick White his an amazing defender as well as having a deadly 3 point shot. Phil has gone absent. Im betting he's too nervous to watch the game

I think Jason Kidd is being a little less than inspirational in the time outs as he is talking with no desperation and telling the team to go out there and have fun. Hey Jason this is the NBA Finals

The Celtic bench play the last 4 minutes and played really well. The Celtics have a lot of depth. I was surprised to learn tonight that Hereford in his 18th year has not won a ring. This year seem s to be all celtics

Celtics win their 8th straight in the playoffs and are 13-2 all told.

The third period was the best part of the game as I was watching a 29 point lead cut to 8 before the Celtics quickly pulled away and never looked back

Well I usually start watching when the game is on the ref for the Celtics.

I have parroted how thrilled I was at the Unicorn''s joining the C''s and this is why. Not only due to his 20 ppg. but also is immense, towering presence inside the paint and is experience and confidence of playing what he is capable of. He poses unique matchup problems on both ends.

Just 1 game, feeling each other out as in most Finals. C''s have to step on the gas, no brakes, no handbrakes. 3 more to go to call it a season.

The Unicorn has a lot of fire and energy in the first quarter and it showed after he made shots and even had a tremendous chase down block. The C's played well in ball distribution without isolating some player to shoot for 40 points. It was an even spread. White and Jrue did their roles well. Dallas will adjust for game 2. Wilborn of ESPN pointed out that Luka has only 1 assist in the game.

Luka was clearly hurting with a flare of his previous right knee injury
