I just interviewed Ravi Velanti, the USA importer of Final. He is completely delightful and loves the hobby. He has been a Final customer for many years.

I thought to my ears the System 3 at just over $180K were far more enjoyable than last year's huge System 6 at over $400K. The System 3 were a delight to listen to but you still need a good size room to appreciate them most..
What did you think of this? Have always heard great things about Trafomatic, and hearing positive things about Wolf von Langa as well. The video seemed promising relative to others you kindly recorded, but the music was nothing I was familiar with.
As you can see from the picture. below I possess the Wolf Von Langa SON speakers, in this unique and distinctive finish, and the Trafomatic ARIES headphone/integrated amplifier pumping out 6 watts per channel. I am using the Aries on its own and as a preamplifier for my English Acoustics 41C amplifier. The ARIES does not disappoint as an integrated amplifier the SONs are sensitive enough to bear the load.
The headphone functionality is superb and that's pure gravy.

Thanks Steve! So good to catch up with you! The SYSTEM 3 is just under $130k @ $129,800. Wish you were here today! We have the DarTZeel 18NS preamp mated with the WestminsterLab Rei's. Wow! Just glorious!

What about this system and the System 3 did you prefer over the system last year that featured the System 6?
Unfortunately I did not visit the PranaFidelity room until after I recorded and published my show summary report. Steven Norber and Dan Meinwald's room definitely is one of my favorite sounds of the show!

FWIW and please no inference meant because I truly loved the System3 but Mikes present speakers IMHO outperform the System3. Bear in mind that Mike has twin bass towers on his present speakers and I have heard both his system and the System 3. Mike can sleep well as there is no comparison IMHO. The new System 3 and 6 are different beasts and I really like the System 3 more so even than the System 6 but remember this was hearing both under show conditions But even though Kevin has designed both, it’s apples and oranges. I even preferred Mike’s MM7 setup to the System 6 but again Mike’s system is unique and one of the great wonders of the audio world
