Not your usual fair here are a few photos of the Trafomatic Audio, Rockna, and Tune Audio room. Trafomatic showed their new power amplifier-only version of the Rhapsody integrated in deep red metallic. Producing a healthy 25 watts per/channel using parallel single-ended 300B's, these amps are visual and sonic stunners!

The digital gurus from Rockna have an exciting product runway planned for later in the year, promising to take on the big brands at a very attractive price. I also had my first interaction with Tune Audio horns from Greece. They are not for hip hop and rock and roll but engaging and oh-so musical with classical and jazz. At 16k, they represent a bargain for the right user and look great in person.

I've listened to the Trafomatic Rhapsody + Dr. Feickert + Blumenhofer. The best room of that particular show.

In this room, it sounded primarily like bass modes. Acoustically, we were far from being able to judge a pair of speakers.

I love Blumenhofer loudspeakers. It's one of the best-kept secrets on the US high-end audio scene.

That room appears to be too small for the Lorenzo LM1s in order to 'breath' properly.
There's boundary coupling reinforcing low freqs. + it's highly reflective.

Corona 2x220s @ DAE 2022:

They're not perfect, but they beat the Avantgarde Trios (in the next room) and crushed the Magicos in terms of live-like and natural sound.

Nice! The two Corona models are ones that interest me. I have heard a couple of the Genuin series but wasn’t thrilled with the sound. I like these designs better but haven’t heard them yet.

Last year's setup was a far cry from 2022; lacking coherence, obvious horn-related issues and lots of bass overhang.

The waveformer works amazingly well and those 22 cm woofers are almost seamlessly matched to the ND850 + radial horn.
As long as you're not walking around while you listen, imaging is pretty amazing. Pulling off the 'you're there' and 'they're here' tricks, occasionally even within the same track.
