I assume (perhaps wrongly) that most of those in this forum have yet to hear the Cinnamon Galle DAC. I just had the opportunity to listen to it over three days in a top-flight system that I know well. I have listened to many high-end digital set-ups priced at multiple times the cost of the Galle, and have been largely unmoved emotionally over time in contrast to outstanding analog front-ends. I was stopped in my tracks by the nuance, body, and presence: it created music that touched me deeply (and no, it isn't colored). Anyway, with zero link to the boutique manufacturer, I urge fellow forum members to audition.It's a possibility, lets see if the right opportunity arises

Maybe at next years High End Munich? There are venues across the street and at Motorworld which are most certainly much less expensive than a booth or a room at the MOC. For example Martion Audio use this venue every year.
Sorry to go slightly OT, but as I understand it the Munich show is industry only for Thursday and Friday, and civilians are allowed only on Saturday and Sunday. Given this, and since it is one of the biggest (if not the) biggest show in the world, is it too much for a regular guy to try and do in two days? It’d be me flying in from the U.S. I’m wondering if it would be really worth it. I kind of feel like for the outlay it’d be better if I could spend more than two days there.
It can be done in two days if you focus on the exhibitors in the atriums and these with the big rooms on the ground floor.
IMO, it is impossible to visit all exhibitors in the four halls. For the halls you have to pick a selected few.
Just for clarification:
For me only a minority of exhibitors in the four halls were interesting, so I wouln't visit the others in the halls even if I had more than two days.

I know Miguel quite well, he and the guys (Rui, Mesquita) at Ultimate Audio in Lisbon Portugal, he got me on my audiophile journey in earnest, and I will be forever grateful, he has a great ear, presently he carries Aqua, Wadax, Playback and Lampizator Dac's, so for him to say the Galle is a great Dac is indeed high praise, and it's good to see another Portuguese manufacturer join the Audiophile community....

It was my system to which we were listening, and I can only confirm/reinforce David's observations about the Cinnamon Galle DAC. Without engaging in hyperbole, I would truly call it "revelatory" in terms of the many, many digital products I've owned and heard over an audiophile journey of 48 years. I choose that word because it "reveals" musically relevant nuances and engages one emotionally but NEVER in an overly "etched" nor aggressive manner, and does so while preserving the sense of the musical whole, which is ultimately critical in conveying the meaning of the musical message. And regarding the Cinnamon Galle DAC, BOTH David MS and I placed orders after a weekend spent auditioning it in my home, an audition not possible without the generosity and support of the ONLY "true hi-end audio" dealer in our part of the country, Gestalt Audio. Collin is a true gentleman, possessed of a very discerning ear, and is the sole US distributor for Cinnamon and the Galle DAC!
