What cables are you using in your system ?????

Out of the box, the SPs-2.7 showed a noticeable improvement.

Compared to the cable I had, which was a much older Kondo AN-Sx with 15 strands of Kondo's pure silver.

Break-in vise,

I couldn't say, as I don't notice it after a significant amount of time has passed. There's probably an ongoing one, but my system always sounds different to me depending on my mood.

I now have a copper version on loan and already hearing a lot to like. But silver is probably the way to go:)

Please just get a David Laboga Emerald 2 USB cable. Its amazing bang for the buck and will give your system a major lift over a generic!

I've been streaming music to my Weiss Dac/Streamer via it 'roon ready' feature over the network, so i had no use for fancy USB cable.
But now i have canceled my Roon subscription and switch to only Tidal software using my PC as source.

So yeah you are probably right and i need to replace the Generic USB cable :)

I was for long time Nordost user, Valhalla 2 power cords, interconnects and SC, Odin 1 power cord from wall to the QB8 mk2, Nordost Heimdall 2 Ethernet from the router to the switch and switch to the Bartók Apex and i was happy. I then Try the Gold SC and interconnect and it was crazy but crazy price. I then try the full loom from Synergetic research SRX of power cables, interconnects, SC and the power conditioner Galileo SX with the SRX XL cable and i was blown away. I keep the rest of the Ethernet cables and the ones of the DC power.

Mtemur, Peter, in his Natural Sound thread, extols the virtues of stock wires. I think the implication was that different custom wires add something (or subtract something) and are best avoided unless one needs to fix something in the equipment that is negatively affecting the sound? I don’t know if that applies to the very best (Kondo, I would think, would be amongst the very best), or just less expensive cables, but do you still have the original power cords for any of your gear? Have you ever swapped them in after the fact just to compare? What is your take? Is the expense worth it?

Actually I do have the original power cords of my gear and I use them. Kondo equipment comes with silver power cords.

If you’re asking me how does ching cheng or similar noname power cord sounds against Kondo I can only say they are terrible. The only way they (noname pwer cords) sound better than a good power cord is a clear indication of something is really wrong with the audio setup. The right thing to do is to find what’s wrong instead of using them (noname). Fixing a mistake with another mistake is not the way to go IMHO. BTW I’m against power cords and interconnects as thick as an arm.

What led you to choose these particular cables? Just curious. I have heard older AN-Japan cables but the cables in my system are AN-UK.

I'm using the regular SPs-2.7 with SPs-2.7 jumpers,
and now i wonder if i should have gone for the bi-wire mono's like you did.

RM Crimson Music Link (UK) for my 2 setups.
These IC's and speaker cables are no longer being made.

Cost: about €7000.00 or 10% of the total cost of my 2 systems not including my ReVox B780 or ReVox tape deck from the early 1980's.

Hi, I heard the copper versions in a Kondo mono blocks / preamp combination driving the latest Avantgarde Mezzos (which I hope to buy in December). The dealer gave me the cables to try at home. After the cables had settled (took about three days to really open up) I couldn’t stop listening (really!). No audiophile term entered my head, just kept listening. Because of this I took a leap of faith and went for it. Biwired because my future Mezzos’ high and mid section can be bewired too. Take care and: enjoy :) ! One thing, Kondo cables are NOT only Kondo gear. Here at home they are used with an Audionet Humboldt driving Kefs 207/2.

I am suffering from Upgradeitis, lol. I have decent audio gear, and am currently running WireWorld Silver eclipse 8 speaker cables. Will Kondo Speakers cable give me more of a noticeable improvement.

If it is possible, give them a try at home. Mine are still breaking in and improving :) . One fascinating aspect, it seems like my loudspeakers more easily throw music into my room.
 
I am using Van den Hul DH 102 ICs with a few Mogami XLRs mixed in. Speaker wires are Mogami Gold. I feel no need to change.
 
The Kondo dealer would not let me demo the cables? I ordered a new set of Fono Acoustico speaker cables from a Dealer in Canada, they will be here middle of Sept

Currently using Fractal F1 interconnects, but might upgrade soon. What would be a good upgrade to these?

Can you please elaborate on this? Have you heard a ching Cheng power cord in comparison to the Kondo?

If a "noname" powercord sounds better than a "good" powercord, why must you assume there's a problem with the system, but not the other way around? Can't you just take the savings earned from the "no name" powercord besting the "good" powercord and invest that into your system?
