Believe it or not, sometimes the supplied linking straps sound poor - replacing them with decent wires improves sound quality. Perhaps it is why people find bi-wiring sounds better.
That's a good point Francisco, and usually why audiophiles replace those strap metal copper (gold plated) bars by real solid (high purity copper) wires, or just bi-wiring them when they have already tons of additional useless speaker cables in their audiophile accessory's chest drawers.
