I have three system s with monoblocks in many ways I think these are the best amps I own. As earlier I talked about the canary ca160 s they are very nice I am thinking that there is some tuning needs to be done to get them to there best. Tube changes.
You are exactly right. The quality, sound, and workmanship are outstanding. I know John at Canary as a friend and he is a true amp builder. I am actually in the process of selling them as I am functionally blind and it is too hard for me to bias them even though I rarely have to do it. Someone is going to get a grat amp.

Is there a young guy around? Perhaps someone next door or at church or where ever that would come set them up for you once a month? Your cam feed him a pop and a treat and then you cam sit down and listen to some music together. Being functionally blind sounds like the time you need a beautiful stereo the most! Just a thought.
The line magnetic monoblocks are certainly lower powered and the could not run the speakers I had them picked out for but that was just a move around thing.
The line magnetic monoblocks are 18 watts a side and the other way to set them sorry I forgot the name they are two watts. That is not good enough. But I have a pair of equation 25 speakers.
They are no longer made but they do pop up once in a while for not to much money they are big and heavy so shipping gets to be a problem or expensive they are a two way tower that are about 5 feet tall. In pinched maple very pretty as well. It was a Canadian importer but I have seen them once in awhile on us audio mart.
The seven model is nice the 25 are better never hears any if the rest if the mmp

Wow played another ten hours those sohpia 274B's just keep getting more beautiful sounding. Getting to sound really lovely. Now to find the right power tube that will likely take it up one more notch. I have been looking at the Tung-Sol 7581a tube recommended to me here.
Interesting I got my tad 6l6 tubes in yesterday afternoon. I put them in the amps and started to play them. They were awful for the first two songs. Got better as time went along had them playing all night in my room. Woke up now the beauty is all gone totally sounds ok. Give them some more hours and see how they continue along. These will have to get much better or they will be backup tubes in a drawer. If that happens that is ok. The Sophia rectifiers sounded so beautiful put in it was wonderful. The used set of tubes that the dealer tossed in with the deal were a mixed up bunch. These you cam tell they are a match but they had a beauty going on that These don't. I find these much like sovtec 6922s totally correct but just plain. Give it some more time but likely out looking for something that
