All NEW Final Audio Model 15 Electrostatic Loudspeakers Review : Taking Electrostatic Loudspeakers To A Whole New Level !

The LFT6 was a magnum opus by Thigpen. I found them to be perfectly voiced and to cast an incredible soundstage on appropriate material.
They could and often totally disappeared. Not to mention a value of a lifetime.

Final Model 35 setup and making music by 9am this morning. The recommended 300 hour break-in has begun. I am noting impressions as
I proceed. Sound was very good fresh out of the box. I also received a pair of Model 5 full ESL and two pair of Model 1 full ESL. Later I will add a Model 3 Center for an Atmos system.
Do you get tangible "body" and "meat on the bones" with the Final 5 model, similar to the ET 6 or the classic Apogees?

What is the panel size? Not the frame, but the panel dimension?

I notice that you have a Holbo turntable.... How would you compare it to some of the other tables you have used before?

I believe the electrostatic panel dimensions same as the 15. Yes, I know where one might go with this information.
I am told that internal dimensions are different. No way to verify.

I really enjoy the Holbo. Simple and well made. Gives nothing up to much more expensive table/arms. Other air bearing arms I enjoy are the
venerable ET2 and beautiful Kuzma Airline. Though the Clearaudio TT1-2-3 are hard to beat. Mechanical perfection and dependable.
Notice I did not extend the accolades to the TT5. I was always a fan of the Revox Linatrack series. I have a B790 in regular use with an Audio Technica 0c9 mounted.

Actual electrostatics panel dimensions: 76" tall, 14.375" bottom, 11.750" top. About 2 degree tilt back.

The 5 is limited to 100hz high pass. Designed for rear channel or use with a subwoofer. These are available as electrostatic panel only with limited low end or as a hybrid with metal coned woofer for full range.

Are you saying there is no difference between the 15 and 35 panel size but the frame size is different?
The actual external physical dimensions of the panel less any frame is the same. The transformers, hole pattern, stator spacing and design are different on the 35 than the 15.

Do you know what shows in USA will a 35 be available to view? I go to Axpona often, but another region will work for me. These shows are a great expense for an Audio line so I understand if the 35 is not in this year's budget.

M35 update. Close to 100 hours completed for break-in. They have settled in so I am beginning to stay in the sweet spot for longer periods.
Listening for fun! No comparisons with other in-house speakers for at least a week. Using Pass Labs xp-25, xp-20 and 250.8. MSB Analog
DAC for digital and Audio Technica ART-1000 for vinyl.

Wow the biggest show Axpona, and no showing of the speaker there.

Thank you,
We have debuted the FINAL ESL US LAUNCH at the AXPONA show in 2024.
Time to SPREAD THE JOY around the country!
At THE SHOWS, FINALs will be demonstrated using high-resolution music sources in both STEREO and MULTI CHANNEL DOLBY ATMOS configurations. All models including the M35 will be present.
All interested audiophiles are welcome to my home demonstration set up located in Ahwatukee Foothills, a scenic suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, to experience the entire Final ESL line up including the world's only all electrostatic Dolby Atmos system! Contact me so we can discuss travel possibilities.

Final M35 has settled in. Discovered the Threshold SA12E and M35 love each other. M35 definitely needs a 250-300 hour break-in.
Serious listening has begun.

M35 is a winner. Very happy and worth the long wait. Winter weather and bitter cold gripping our location. My main system is in a separate building and winter has made me lazy by the fire (vent free gas heater). Have begun the break=in process for my Final M5 and four M1. Ultimate
goal is an all electrostatic Atmos system.

Thank you kindly for sharing!
I would love to hear more impressions.

Hoping to have mine in February.
