Arvo Part, absolutely!
Good call. Tabula Rasa would be my favorite Part recording on ECM. Is this out of print? I noticed it is listed on amazon for $125.

Still prefer the European quarter over the trio any day of the week.
I have may be around a 100 ECM titles, listen to them all the time. I would have to rank Anouar Brahem as my #1 ranked recording artist on ECM, but it is hard to go wrong with anything released on the label.
Quartet or quarter (back)?![]()
Me loves both; trio, and quartet, and even solo (duo).
For a long time Astrakan Cafe was my Brahem favorite. But slowly but firmly the intrinsic beauty of Le Pas du Chat Noir displaced it.

And who in their right or wrong mind could forget this?

Carla Bley, I got few but not that one above. ...I should!

By the way, also a huge Anouar Brahem and Dhafer Youssef's fan here. * Youssef is on the Enja, Justin Time, Jazzland, ... record labels though.
If you don't know him, you're gonna love Abou-Khalil. Less introspective than
Brahem, and heavy on percussion, but fantastic stuff. Pick up a copy of 'Blue Camel' first.
