I announced early in 2024 the establishment of Audio Café, in Beverly Hills, California. Audio Café is a dealership organized to represent Clarisys Audio loudspeakers in California.

Tinka and I and Gary Leeds, of Hear This LLC, representing WestminsterLab electronics and Ars Machinae turntables, will be hosting Exhibit Room Balboa II at The Home Entertainment Show Costa Mesa 2025 on June 6 through June 8, 2025.

This is your opportunity to hear Clarisys Audio Studio Plus loudspeakers in California, and to meet Tinka and me and Gary Leeds and listen to music together!

If you are not able to attend T.H.E. Show Costa Mesa 2025, please contact me directly to schedule an audition at Audio Café!

Thank you!

I look forward to it......

I visited the exhibit room, Balboa II, today at the Hilton Costa Mesa hotel in preparation for the show.

The room is 27 feet wide and 33 feet long. It should work out well!

I will definitely check these out!

Been wanting to hear them for quite a while. I've been meaning to come to Audio Cafe, but things keep popping up.

Slightly off topic, do you have an idea about how many rooms there will be this year?

I still have high hopes that someday, The Home Entertainment Show will approach the numbers from the mid to late 2010's, i.e., 90+ rooms. I believe 2024 was about 60 rooms.

Thanks!

Ron ,
Seems like a pretty big room for those smaller Clarysis panels …

The Studios are 5 1/2 feet tall and almost 3 feet wide.

The Piccolos are only 3 1/2 feet tall. At AXPONA 2024, Florián had a gigantic ballroom: something like 50 feet long and 30 feet wide. He had both the Auditoriums and the Piccolos in there. He had fun playing the Piccolos and daring people to guess which speakers were actually playing.

I was at that show and yes the picalo sounded good to me . As I walked into the room it was musical some 40 feet or so back.
when I got to the front row it was good no doubt . like a good System at lower volumes , very clear and tone was good.
I never got to hear them turned up a bit more.
the large panels were good but to me the picalo stole the show in that room. Perhaps
The tube amps used were not enough to make them come alive.
They had two cat mono block amps
A smaller and larger one. I never heard them on the larger amps.
I now own a set of diva apogee speakers on two Krell amps.
I know what Clarisys has done is levels above my diva , but this type panel is to me a great sound
I do think the room is problematic in its size but its also what one likes in sound
having heard how good the tiny in comparison picalo sounded compared to these it will be interesting.
perhaps a wider front few rows allowing the panels to be closer to side walls and some tow in might work.
good luck Ron I hope the show is great and some videos and interviews would Also be great.

Thank you, Al!
