The 330M is the latest model in Audio Research’s Reference series of amplifiers, superseding the 750SEL as the flagship. It stands head and shoulders above every other amplifier we have ever heard.

Audio Research’s tube amplifiers gained notoriety in the 1970’s, particularly with the high power D-150, which received The Absolute Sound’s “Most Influential Amplifier Design of the Decade, 1973-1983.” As Audio Research’s founder, Bill Johnson wrote, “Tubes, per se, don't ensure a musical sounding amplifier. It's just that our patented cross-coupled, balanced tube circuitry is something that neither we, nor anyone else has been able to improve upon.”

In the 50 years that separate the D-150 and the Reference 330M, the engineering approach and the pioneering efforts have not changed. Audio Research has always had a team of talented and passionate engineers who have worked with the same goal of improving the sound and reliability of the next product.

Careful listening evaluations have kept us on the path and moving forward, providing the sonic guardrails in our design process. The half-dozen engineers we have added since Valerio Cora purchased Audio Research have supercharged our team and propelled us forward: the 330M is the first product introduced, and it is our finest.

Good luck. Your company was one of the original pioneers of hi end audio and I'm sure we all wish AR continued success moving forward. BTW, gorgeous looking piece of gear, especially in black.

Gorgeous gear! It is a bit pricey but I am still looking forward to hearing it at my Audio Research dealer here in BKK.
Congratulations to venerable ARC for a fine product.
