Bitcoin

Of course it speaks for bitcoin. It speaks for its security and lack of consumer protection. Values plummeted after the failure of Mt Gox and Quad. And rightly so.

Sure. The problem is anyone can make an exchange. But no one can hack bitcoin itself. You don't have to keep your bitcoin on an exchange, and no one recommends that anyways.

Yes. There isn't a strong reason for it to stay high just yet. But next year might be wild, very wild.

Note* You could have bought in at $3k~ this year and be selling now.

I'm sure you did and have made millions right?

The buy point was more like $6k after the temporary bottom

That's just great ...

You have to buy when it's on sale, Keith. To make millions, I'd have to have had a bare min of $750k in - it quadrupled, it didn't go thousands of times. If I had that much in then David would be setting up a TT at my house shortly.

Since it's introduction, Bitcoin has risen 15,235,028.4%.

Not bad going.

yes but hasn't it fallen over 15,235,028.4%

you guys have tight anal sphincters. Certainly tighter than mine

Doesnt that concern you

No. The US forget how important wealth storage is outside of our borders. We are federally secured, everyone else has a lot of challenges and doesn't get the benefit of our nearly free-to-us clearing houses etc... I expect the rest of the world to be a bigger user of it, while we just try to make money on it.

I was kidding - people always "buy the lows and sell the highs" in Wall Street lingo. truth is nobody can time markets that well

I would have pumped money in at the $3k area if I had the liquidity to do it.

I just sold some now, but it's up $100 from when I sold.... I just don't want to get caught "with my pants down" since this pump doesn't look like it'll hold, let alone possibly break $14k. We'll see, I could get caught in high water, too.

Wise.

It's a gamble or simply playing in the international global casino, as I like to call it.

It's just that this casino is playing with odds highly in their favor not withstanding many of those who own it to keep themselves out of the reach of the law
