Our newest model, the VR.thirty, was inspired by the design of the Ultra.seven, our $190,000 flagship. The result is an obtainable speaker that redefines what is possible at this price point.

Our design objectives were:

• Retain the hallmark qualities of our Ultra series.
• No comprises to build quality, cabinet design, drivers and crossover components, or internal cabling.
• Zero sacrifices in terms of bandwidth with or little to no loss in output.
• Offer a modest spouse-friendly footprint, enabling near Ultra-level performance that is ideal for small to mid-sized rooms.

VR.thirty Specifications:

• Three-way design with hand-soldered, point-to-point crossovers
• Frequency response: 23hz-40khz +- 3db
• Efficiency: 87.5 db at 1-watt/1-meter
• Smooth impedance and easy phase angles for compatibility with a wide range of solid-state and tube amplifiers

They are great Gavin ol' buddy! Sadly my basement sprung a leak when we had a terrible monsoon that my backyard garden's active drainage system couldn't handle because even the pool overflowed. Not to worry, only a patch of flooring got wet and needs replacing. I decided to renovate since I want a brighter room anyway as I am now officially a senior golfer! Hello White Tees! LOL

Look nice! BTW, I see the Synergistic Research Black Boxes in front/center of the speakers. I was inquiring about those...do you or they have any comments about how well they work? And what they have done particularly in this room?

I'm sorry I don't. I have yet to hear about this new setup with or without the SR boxes. I hope to do it in March when I am at the SWAF show.

VR.thirty in our latest colorway - Ferrari Grigio Scuro, ready to go to its new owner

Here's a sample of our latest VR.thirty colorway in Ferrari Grigio Scuro. These were set up today for a client demo who's a tube guy. So we decided to set-the speakers up a set of Trafomatic Audio Pandora Class A mono monoblocks with SE tube and 40 watts/channel.
Damon reported that in conjunction with the Foundation bass amplifiers, the sound exhibited great tone color, a deep-wide sound stage, and surprisingng dynamics for the rated power so I'm looking forward to hearing the combination. Note for the demo, we drove the amplifiers directly from our Lampizator Horizon DAC.
