Capital Audio Fest 2022

One of the happy surprises of my Capital Audio Fest visit was the great sound that Tannoy and Audio Research made. I'm not an ARC guy. I've always found them, well, adequate. Well, shut me up and color me impressed. Their sound was a nice juxtaposition from much of the shows more delineated, skinnier fair...and yes, the ubiquitous VPI was holding court along with them. 20221112_154356.jpg

Head Whammer

Another thumbs up for Songer Audio. I thought theirs was one of the nicest sounding rooms. Unfortunately I didn’t get to hear the open baffle speaker, but the S1 powered by a Whammerdyne 2a3 amp was wonderful.
Thank you so very much for your kind words regarding our room, It was such a great event for Ken and I ...Cheers HW
