Metro DC
The Capitol AudioFest will make its' annual appearance in the DMV (D.C., Maryland and Virginia) on Fri., Sat., and Sun., Nov.1-3, at the Hilton Hotel located in the DMV. More precisely at the Twinbrook Metro station in Rockville, Maryland. The hotel is visible and adjacent to the Metro stop. Our world class subway is safe and reasonably priced. Parking is expensive but available. If you need to drive, I suggest you park elsewhere and complete your trip via Metro
You may also wish o engage in sightseeing of our government buildings and monuments. The Lincoln memorial is a special treat on the mall at night.
Tickets are $10 for a day and $30 for a three day pass.

My plan is to attend the show. I have no plans at this time to cover the show for WBF. See you there and enjoy.

What is the DMV? I was living in Rockville before I moved to CA, and then it was Department of Motor Vehicles.

Okay. Thanks. I guess the OP alluded to that, but his post made no sense the way he apparently explained it in parens. Thanks again.

Magico M2. That dark veil has been lifted.
Sandersspundsystems- I don't know what Roger did. When paired with his amp they have reached a whole new level. Now with lifetime warranty.
Tied for Best in Show.

It appears the manufaccturer of the amplifier is sponsoring the deal. Contact his company for details.

IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON!
I visited the Sandersound Room at the show. Rogers' speakers coupled with his Magtech amplifier has gotten so god that it transcends price category and the electrostatic group. It now competes for best speaker. It is clearly the best electrostatic. So much so that it almost makes Martin Logan irrelevant. That comment comes from a former Martin Logan owner and current fan.
This speaker:
plays loud without strain or breakup.
It has low level resolution.
It has solid,tight non-boomy bass.
It is affordable even with the amplifier. Dare I say it is a bargain
It integrates into your living space.
It has lifetime guarantee.
You can purchaseit on a trial basis.

Harry Pearson has gone on to the great listening room in the sky. It is been along time since he bought the Innersound to our attention. There was one caveat. The Innersound had a limited sweet spot. A long time has passed. Roger even has a new company. That stigma has persisted like an albatross around Rogers neck. It has not helped matters that Roger seems to have owned it. This is evidenced not only by a you tube video, but also by the annoying bobsled style seating at his otherwise excellent exhibits.
Stop it.
It is not necessary and it is annoying. Every speaker has a point at witch it sounds its' best. We need to differentiate between a "sweet spot" and a "sweet area." The latter is nice but not required. Most critical listening (if not all is done alone). Even speakers with wide dispersion have a spot where they sound best. I admit some do fall off more rapidly than others. Whenever I visit Rogers' exhibit I make it a point to walk aroundt of me. I keep waiting for the dogs to pull us away.(as if it were a dog sled.)

My apology for using stock photos. I am having technical issues with my show photos.:(
