I am willing to get involved however what's the yearly membership fee? Rules/ Obligations? It has to work financially for everyone ..
They do this with boats here in Florida BTW
agreed ... has anyone read it to see if they were using mono L10's in the test ...... that might account for the strange matching in the photoStrange pic. Two L10 [upper] units (running in mono presumably) but no L10 power supplies. Magazine not tall enough?
Four boxes L10 reviewed in the article.agreed ... has anyone read it to see if they were using mono L10's in the test ...... that might account for the strange matching in the photo
I read the review. With respect to bass he says, "...the 10 Series walked the fine line to reproduce the visceral thrill of bass weight and body..."
After reading that I am keen to hear the M10/L10 again. Biased or not, I doubt one would speak the way he does about the bass if it were anemic.
XVX and Wilson subsonic subwoofer with Wilson ActivXO external crossover. The big question is :
Whats the speaker connected to the 10 series with which he enters this " new era " of amplification
the 3060 has not shown up yet to even consider ditching it!Sure it might do appropriate bass on a high overall impedance/ eff speaker .
But it might not be sufficient on your XVX 1,5 ohm min speaker .
In your case you should definetively do a home try out before ditching the 3060 , at least thats my opinion
I thought you had the 3060 , which amp do you have for your Alexx ( XVX)?the 3060 has not shown up yet to even consider ditching it!
How did it control a standalone XVX ?XVX and Wilson subsonic subwoofer with Wilson ActivXO external crossover.
He is testing it with bi-amp mode. One channel is driving XVX with full range and the other channel driving subsonic with crossover. How did it control a standalone XVX ?
Any testing without the sub ?

I know, not the M10, but my M1 is pretty wimpy in a bi-amp mode. Why waste all that goodness driving a subHe is testing it with bi-amp mode. One channel is driving XVX with full range and the other channel driving subsonic with crossover.
