What's credible. I don't know you. Your just some guy on the internet saying someone told you something. Said person telling you, as in Herve has not said anything. That to me indicates the information you posted is not necessarily accurate.
As enthusiasts we become so focused on the flagships that we forget what pays the salaries and the rent. Herve could live with that when the global economy was better. I think the new direction will stabilize his company and hopefully in time that will allow him the resources to create new halos for us nerds to drool over. My only piece of advice to Dartzeel is one I give to all electronics manufacturers. Make sure your designs are very well protected from bad power. Bad power is extremely prevalent world wide.
Herve if you are reading this, many of us are pulling for you not just because you are a good person but because you are obviously one with a talent that needs to be shared. Good luck.
Concur with Elliot's take. Time is critical. More delays compromise his chances of re-emerging as a successful, viable audio company. His competition is not "on hold" and every day of uncertainty results in loss of customers and future sales. The candle is burning at both ends.

Regardless of our personal feelings about how Herve handled this (or should have handled this), or the pricing of the products, or anything else - I never want to see a company go out of business. It is sad on many fronts.
Don't disagree. Having said that and from a purely objective perspective, I assume he has some responsibility for his current situation. And I presume competitve / realistic pricing (not what market will bear) had to be a major factor. Best.

Agree. Certain Swiss companies received government support during COVID (subsidized funding) but I don't know if that was the case for Dartzeel. In any case something does not add up because Dartzeel was a seemingly healthy company for many years and that changed relatively quickly. I think as owners it would have been good to receive further updates from Herve - I thought that would have happened at least for those that registered their serial numbers on the website but unfortunately not the case.
